Dear Friends,

Spring has finally sprung on Long Island! For the month of May the offerings at the Mercer School include several opportunities for learning about our church. Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at 9am, Mercer hosts a special program about the upcoming July General Convention of the Episcopal Church.

On Thursday May 3rd at 7pm, Research Astrophysicist Dr. Anton Koekemoer, with the Hubble Space Telescope, will explore the Universe, Theology and Christian faith and understanding.

Later on Rev Claire Woodley, Canon for Ministry Support, will host two events: Congregational spiritual growth on May 12 and Stewardship and Congregational Development on May 19.

The "lunch and learn " Tuesday sessions on the history of our diocese continue until May 15 as we begin to prepare for the Fall Anniversary Celebration. You are welcome to join us for any or all of these remaining sessions.

More trainings and events are listed in the Spring Program Catalog on the home page of the Mercer website. All in all, this month promises wonderful things.

You can see details of these programs here and please visit the Mercer website often for updates and information. As always, we welcome you to visit the School and the Library and to contact us, 516-248-4800 Ext. 140.
