Living Faithfully in a Time of Terrorism, and Passing on the Faith
Date posted: Sat, Apr 9th, 2016

Dear Friends,

Some of our most anticipated events of the year are approaching quickly now.  On Thursday evening, April 21, the second annual Robert Farrar Capon Lecture will take place in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd at Mercer School of Theology in Garden City.  The Rev. Dr. James W. Jones of Rutgers University will address the intersection between religion and contemporary terrorism, a neuralgic place which he studied deeply for a decade.

On Saturday, May 14, John Roberto will be with us for our annual Faith Formation Day, this year addressing the reimagining of faith formation for this 21st century.  John is an experienced and innovative religious educator who has been addressing imaginatively these changing times in terms of passing on the faith for the past quarter century and more.

You can access registration online for each of these events through the Featured Events area on the left of this page.

You are most warmly invited to join us.

Easter blessings,

John P. McGinty+
